I was preparing my C&J frame XL Honda for an upcoming Post Vintage race this weekend and noticed the swing arm bushings are showing wear.Any body know where I can get the bushings? Are they common bushings a bearing shop would have?I noticed C&J frames are still in business but they moved to Idaho. There new phone number is 208 337-6268. I called but they did not get back to me yet.

They would be custom made for the swingarm and pivot bolt.  A good machine shop could make you a set, but C&J would probably be just as cheap and they can send you some new frame decals to make it look good!  Give them a call and see what they want for them.

Thanks,

C&J did get back to me and they do not have the bushings. The machine shop is the route I will be taking - it appears the 936 bearing bronze is the best material to make the bushings out of.

Sometimes it is hard to admit but like me there is some age on the old XLs and frames.

I noticed Powroll no longer handles the big bore kit for the XL250.
