This is my current street toy. 686cc Yamaha TT600, Ported, cammed, dual 1 5/8" pipes w/megs under seat. Honda Hawk chassis, GS500 Suzuki front wheel/fender, EX500 Fairing, dual 37mm FCR carbs. This engine is identical to Mats old racebike except for slightly bigger carbs,Mats bikeran about 72hp on the dyno. He usde a 250RR chassis for his racebike.Swiss

That looks sharp. got any more pics, I can't see the head pipes did you run them up over the top?

The Yamaha 600 Thumper ports already have an upward curve and to run them forward and then down you are just increasing the bend curve.  It was easier to run them above the engine and then back to dual megaphones and then out to the custom dual aluminum mufflers.  The material used for the mufflers by the was from a landing strut piece off a military helicopter.  Still has the engraved id tag on it.  Built the outlets to match the aluminum housings.  Also made the billet kickstart lever from scratch.  My plan is to swap out the 1 5/8" mild steel exhaust pipes that are currently wrapped with some 1 3/4" stainless headpipes.  I did the first ones as "prototype pieces".  I have another pic of the other side I will send in later tonight.

Nice bike swiss. There's a guy on the thumper page [I think] who's building the same chassis/engine combo. Would you be interested in building me a pipe for my TT600? Bruce
