Good luck with the Suzuki 4LS brake.  Have you seen the prices of those units?  Man....  They sure are cool, though.  I think that an identical brake came on a year or two of the early GT550s, as well, just to expand your search options.  Are you using an SL engine in your project?  Those are cool since they have no electric start.  I got rid of the starter on my CB350, but there's still that big, ugly ear in the casting for the starter.  The SL350 motors look so clean without it.  I understand that they have different motor mount provisions, so a CB engine in an SL frame or vice versa might require some welding and fab work.

I have not had any luck on finding a Suzuki 4LS brake. I wanted one because they looks so cool. Have seen some on eBay go for high dollar. I also knew that the 1972 GT550 brake would work. I think I will use the SL350 cases to build my motor. I have three CB350 motors and one CL350 motors also, so I should have a lot of spare parts. Maybe I will look for another kind of front hub and brake.

Second choice for front hub and brake:

Suzuki T500 drum and brake
Yamaha XS1 drum and brake

Let me know if you have one.
