Can anybody tell me where I I can find sl 125 heavy duty valve springs?  I have a medium grind mx race cam and I was told I need them for the extra lift.  We are going to shim up the stock one's if it comes to it.  They're  are going in a sl125 bumped up to a 150cc mx'er. Thanks

Hey Johnny, R&D has springs w/titanium retainers for the XL125 one peice head that I'm reasonably sure will fit the SL heads, I have a set here that I can fit to one of the SL heads that I have to confirm this. give me a few days to get to it. I'm running a set on my vintage engine and the thing revs as far as I want it to, NO VALVE FLOAT!!! It sings a song that must have dogs howling two countys away.

Cheers Beers n Gearz. Joe

Thanks for the reply, Joe.  This was supposed to be a 1-2 month hop-up and has turned into a 2 year full blown project.  Hopefully I can post a pic when(?) it is finished.  I'll be looking for the update. Thanks  John

Powroll has just up dated their sl-xl 100/125 stuff.    I have a pair of their heavy duty valve springs ordered and powroll told me they were back ordered for a week or so.  Their springs are $50 a set compared to $115 at R&D but RD used Ti retainers.  You get what you pay for.

Yeah, I was going to post about thier updates, but you beat me to it.

looks like thier not fooling around this year, My packages came about because I got tried of waiting for them to get off of thier asses on the 145 piston kit, every time they told me it was ready to ship something or another would come up, so I wound up developing my own package. and so far both my vintage and pv engines are proven winners, the real test of fire is coming up with a race tomrow, a race in northern Cali in two weeks and another race here on Colo the following week!!!

I need to call them about thier clucth springs. I had a set on order last year but they were backordered and I never heard about them coming back in stock.

Joe
