I have a 1982 Honda 100 dirt bike with no spark.
It sat for a year with no spark and gave it a kick 1 day and it had spark , and ran fine.
That lasted for a couple days till going thru a mud puddle and now no spark again.
I am thinking it is my stator that got wet because of a hole in casing.
I have been testing with my meter and find stator wire is alreay grounded before making it to the coil.
Can anybody tell me the proper way to test this stator?
I checked from 1 side of stator to other side and have now resistance.
Thanks
