Wouldn't you know it. I recently owned a TL125, but after researching the comparisons of the TL125 vs the TL250, I decided what I really wanted was the TL250. So, I sold my TL125 specifically to buy a TL250. My intentions were to take the money from the sale of the 125 and just go out and buy a 250. But I could not find one anywhere close enough for me, or they were so nice that the price was way out of my budget. And with what little finances I have/had, I spent the money on something else that needed that money (you know, family, car repairs & house repairs). As luck (if you want to call it that) would have it, I found a '75 TL250 on Craigslist that is in the city I live in! It is only 10 minutes away from me and at almost the exact price I sold my TL125 for! Where was this bike when I had the money from the sale of the TL125? Here is the bike: http://dallas.craigslist.org/mcy/204523031.html It needs new sprockets and chain, badly. If I bought it, I would change out the fenders, handlebars and exhaust. The bars have the hole in the middle for the kill switch and they are cracking around that hole. And the exhaust has no muffler so it is straight through and loud. Other than cosmetics like paint, it is in pretty good condition. And it rides really good. At this point, I think I have to pass on it. But if/when I get some money, I will look him up and see if it is for sale. I really, really want it and it would make a good companion to my '75 XL250 Thanks for listening. Larry

The guy started at $700, went down to $600 then $500. After that I don't know what happened, whether it went on eBay, or what. It was not in TOO bad a condition, I would have bought it, but I just didn't have the cash.
