Hello, After some time in the garage (I had new intake valves fitted),I was glad to hear my XL running again. When i started the engine for the second time my carb started flooding (even when running), . I needed to get home, so i road with the gas overlow tube up (so I didn't leave a constant stream of gas). from then on I can't seem to pass 4000 RPM. The engine sputters and loses power. I had a look at the float chamber, and when I reinstalled it, it didn't leak gas anymore. However, I still can't seem to pass 4000 RPM. I'm not sure if it gets to much or to less fuel, as I am not a real connoiseur. Can anyone help me? Thanks, WD-40.
