I did that conversion but I used the stock stator windings. You will also need a cdi ignition coil. At first I did not want to file the head so I just shimmed the pulse coil with a couple of washers until it cleared the head. The alignment with the advance rotor was not perfect but good enough to test. After I got it working I filed the head (very little), installed a new cover (from an atc110 I think, certainly there are many models that use similar covers) and I used JB weld to cover the exposed bit of the pulse coil.

The atc alternators have no charging circuit, if that matters to you.  I now use a 220ohm resistor to limit current to the  cdi unit because the stock magneto windings produce too much current and can blow the box. I burned  up 2 units before I  learned.
