Well straightening was an option I kind of took all ready. Went over to friend's house and used a press and I thought we got it pretty straight but now it blinds in the slide. I figure it's snaked a little bit now and more press work is most likely not an option anymore. Wished I knew your bottle jack trick then. It's like hmm a board and a chain to torque against. Anyway the tube was bent when i got it. The bike has the same ole story, someone flipped it didn't ride it much after that, and sat for long time. A hick came along dusted it off and gave it to his young son, and the boy rode the hair off it. Ole dad figured he would fix the bent fork as he was cleaning the bike up again for the 100th time, and the boy can't understand why we ever wanted to fix the fork to start with. While it may have been an issue for everybody else to ride the bike it was no problem for him. So now I'm trying to figure out my options. I only paid 300 bucks for the bike and it was factory clean other than the issues alrady spoke about. I have way more money in parts for sprockets, chains and tires than in the bike. I'm dumping money like crazy in roping horses and now old pick-ups for the kid and I'm looking for cheap fix on the bike. Plus it's been a great little machine and I just hate to see it down. I'll check into the bikebandit.com thing. But still I'm thinking that front end must be able to be swaped out with another type. As long as it's jumpie I'm sure the boy doesn't really care.
