hey xr fans ive got a question i have a 1984 xr 350 with a 1985 xl 350 bottom end useing an xr crank the compression release is on the kickstarter and it is very easy to start like it has no compression is this normal the entire engine has been gone through and plus the bike runs very well thanks

Ya thats normal. Mine died on the road one day right after I first got it. I tried to kick it a few times and it felt like the compresion was completly gone. I walked a mile got a truck came and got the bike. I thought I would kick it over again in the back of the truck. It started and still runs its just easy to kick it over.
