After I rebuilt the engine it seemed pretty loud--lots of clackity from the top end. I finally felt like messing with it and took the rocker cover off--one of the bolts had backed out of the cam sprocket and was about to fall out. I'm glad I found it before it fell out. Do you use locktite on those bolts?

Dennis, I have never used locktite on cam bolts and the only one I ever had come loose was the one I didn't tighten. Don't know the torque specs but they will stand heavy torque. Pat Orman.

The manual says 13 ft/lbs Pat. I used a torque wrench both times, but I was very careful not to over torque it because I didn't want to have to look for another cam.
