  I&apos;ve got a 1981 Honda XL 250 s and when I change oil I&apos;m seeing aluminum and brass looking shavings in my oil. Does anyone know where it could be coming from? I&apos;ve replaced the timing chain and noticed the old chain had been hitting the block, but the shavings seem to be getting worse. I&apos;ve changed

  Just finished up the rebuild on my &apos;82 xl250r. Started up on the 5th kick and runs great. I started the rebuild in May and puttered a bit night after work. Hardest part was finding a crank and cylinder sleeve that would fit. Ebay to the rescue.Thanks for all your help,D
