Am starting to restore a 80 XL500s. Bought this 1980 XR500 pipe as mine was rusted out.
As I have not seen one like this with the script HONDA stamped on it, I am curious what this is?
Outside the US model? Part of the old Honda "Power up kit"?
Good question for us old guys.........

Thanks! Looks like that took a bit of effort to find! WOW!
So its probably a stock 1980XR 500 muffler?
Had not seen one with the stamped script.
Maybe some had it & some didnt?
That must be it.
