Hello All......I am sure that with all of the Honda experts on this forum someone has had to have tried this.
I have a 1980 xr500 engine that runs well (no problems).  Was offered a 1985 XR350 rolling chassis and now I am trying to determine if my 1980 xr500 engine is an easy install onto the 1985 xr350 frame.

I'm sure there are minor alterations required but any advice is appreciated.

Early XR500 engine is larger than the later single carb XR350.  Get out your tape measure and start checking engine case dimensions.
