I measured the ohms on the stator (Black/red ) to ground .
Came up with 185.2 .
Any thoughts on this ? I am having spark issues.

Thanks for the pics .
I'm getting a repair manual this week. .
Just got the bike which wasn't running , It spits and sputters and dies .
I am going to  have the carbs cleaned and see what happens.
It can't hurt .

I installed a ricky stator and the bike is running a lot better.
I read that some stators will test ok but when they heat up stop working or not work correctly  .
Got a good deal on one and I am one step closer to a reliable bike.

Go soothingly on the grease mud ... as there lies the skid demon! ...
