Hi guys,

Twice I have rebuilt Xl350R's engine.  Both of them are still kicking and you guys helped me out a lot finding parts and dudes able to rebuild parts.

California, Ohio, Tennessee, etc.. parts from all over to get the job done :) and I have enjoyed these bikes for more than a decade now.

Now, I am older (not necessarely wiser) and take so much more time to heal that I must part with both bikes.

Currently, my left wrist has 2 fractures and 3 pulled ligaments lol

Since I know how hard it is to find parts and stuff, I figured I would post a message here in case someone is interested.

Both are 1983 XL350R.

1st-rebuilt 4 years ago.  Racing cam, XR piston, pin and connecting rod. Second oversize. Works like a freaking charm. Tires to DOT limits.

2nd- rebuilt 2 years ago. Racing cam, XL piston, pin and connecting rod. First oversize.  Needs some love on brakes & kickstart.  Exotic seat included ;)  Has a kinda weak home-made stand.  Homemade muffler but not noisy.  Tires are non-DOT and on the muddy side.

In any case, these are the results of so many tiny steps...  As you all know well :)

Well...  It seems it does not like the photos...  You can always see them here : https://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-details.html?adId=1383277858

The add is in french but but the pistures are bilingual lol

Hopefully, I can find them a good home...  and, again, I thank everyone who helped me back then!

Keep on fighting the good fight!

Fred

Go soothingly on the grease mud ... as there lies the skid demon! ...
