Evening all,

Still working on the bike and sorting out issues. Back at the sorting now after taking the summer off due to frustration.

So, I am looking for a competition exhaust for the bike to alleviate any possible issues with the stock unit. However, I am having difficulty locating a suitable unit and wondering if anyone has any ideas for a source. An old Hooker would work nicely (no not that kind of hooker) but even a down pipe would work. Not worried about a silencer at this point.

Anybody have ideas?

Thanks,

Ed

Iron pony guy,

XLInt  Performance has high and low headers for the side port XL250 for 150 to 220 US$ plus shipping, in various finishes. They have "mufflers" also of various configurations, all loud, apparently.

TY for your replies,

Great to have legitimate responses to my issue.

After posting I found the XLInt site. I am currently investigating what he has to offer.

After my many attempts to eliminate the rich running issue, this seems like my best next step.

Again, TY!!!

Ed
