Search Tags

When creating a new Topic/Thread on The XL Board - you have the option of adding a “Search Tag” to your new thread.

The “Search Tag” facility enables one to find things quicker & easier as “Search Tags” are listed alphabetically above each category in the forum.  Whenever you create a new thread you can add your own search/key word/s.

Also ... even after the thread/topic has been posted you can edit it and add a search tag to the already existing thread/topic i.e.

Go to the topic/thread you wish to add a search tag to > Click on [Edit] found on the top right above the [Reply] button, add the search tag/s...

Or … another Edit Option:

To add “Search Tags” to existing Topics/Threads – if you actually initiated the thread:

Go to the first post in the thread, click on the drop down "action" box and select [Edit].
The editing screen will be visible & the “Search Tags” field is accessible from there.

This only works on the Opening Post in a thread & only if you initiated the said Thread/Topic.  If you did not initiate the thread & simply responded to the thread – you cannot add a “Search Tag” to someone else’s thread.

Go soothingly on the grease mud ... as there lies the skid demon! ...
